Logistics Coordinator

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating trailer transportation and delivery of materials. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure efficient logistics operations, from planning routes to tracking shipments, and addressing any issues that may arise along the way. You will collaborate closely with our Project Managers and vendors to optimize processes and deliver exceptional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate Transportation: Responsible for managing trailer drop off and pick up at construction projects. Trailers will need to be dumped regularly at the nearest dump site.

  2. Supply Runner: Responsible for delivery of all necessary supplies on the job site.

  3. Route Planning: Plan and optimize transportation routes based on factors such as distance, delivery requirements, and vehicle capacity to maximize efficiency and minimize fuel consumption.

  4. Documentation Management: Input all receipts into tracking software.

  5. Inventory Management: Manage stock levels, coordinate replenishments, and ensure accurate inventory records to support efficient logistics operations at warehouse.

  6. Communication and Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external suppliers, maintaining clear and timely communication to coordinate logistics activities and resolve any issues that may arise.

  7. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, optimize logistics workflows, and implement best practices to enhance the overall effectiveness of the logistics function.
