Logistics Coordinator

Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive and organized Logistics Coordinator to manage and oversee trailer transportation and the delivery of materials to project sites. This role is crucial to maintaining efficient logistics operations, from planning routes and tracking shipments to resolving on-the-ground challenges. The Logistics Coordinator will work closely with Project Managers, vendors, and warehouse teams to ensure timely deliveries, accurate documentation, and smooth coordination across all logistics activities.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Coordinate Transportation: Manage trailer drop-offs and pickups at construction projects, ensuring timely dumping at the nearest authorized site

• Supply Delivery: Serve as a supply runner, delivering materials and equipment to active job sites as needed

• Route Planning: Plan and optimize transportation routes based on project requirements, distance, and vehicle capacity to maximize efficiency and minimize fuel usage

• Documentation Management: Record and maintain receipts, delivery logs, and related documentation using tracking software

• Inventory Management: Oversee warehouse stock levels, coordinate material replenishment, and maintain accurate inventory records

• Communication and Coordination: Act as the main point of contact for internal teams, suppliers, and vendors to coordinate logistics activities and resolve issues promptly

• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance logistics processes, streamline operations, and implement best practices for improved performance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred

• 2–4 years of experience in logistics coordination, transportation management, or a related field

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to plan and execute multiple deliveries under tight deadlines

• Proficiency with route planning and tracking software

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
