Construction Project Estimator

Position Overview​

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Construction Project Estimator to join our team. This role plays a critical part in the pre-construction phase, ensuring that project budgets and financial planning are accurate, comprehensive, and aligned with client expectations. The Estimator will analyze project requirements, gather cost data, and prepare detailed estimates to support informed decision-making throughout the design and construction process.

Roles and Responsibilities​

• Review project plans, specifications, and related documents to determine project scope and requirements

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment

• Solicit and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers

• Analyze historical data and market conditions to support cost projections

• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and sales to refine project budgets

• Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and value-engineering solutions

• Assist in preparing proposals and bid documents for client submission

• Maintain organized records of estimates, pricing data, and vendor information

Qualifications​

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, or a related field (preferred)

• Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in construction estimating

• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes

• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills

• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities

• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams
